On the page of PNI where the bibliography should be is the title “Bibliography Not Included” and a link to this page on the book website. Why? The main reason is because most bibliographies for books are totally useless. Usually, they follow a standard format called the MLA citation style, which means that a typical bibliography entry looks like this:

Bhargava, Rohit. Personality Not Included: Why Companies Lose Their Authenticity and How Great Brands Get It Back. New York: McGraw-Hill, 2008.

The problem is that this format offers no context to put multiple resources together, includes typically irrelevant information like the city of publication, and leaves out useful information such as how to get the book or a more detailed description.

To solve that problem, I took a different approach to the bibliography (or list of resources) for Personality Not Included - creating a bookstore with all the books the I consulted while I was writing the book.
